Divina Lopez, M.D.
Dr. Divina Lopez, Pediatrician
I was born and raised by two very hardworking and loving parents in Brooklyn, NY. I grew up in a family where God was the center and taught the importance of love, compassion and helping others.
Since the age of 4, I knew I wanted to become a physician and had the opportunity to study medicine at Ross University Medical Center in Dominica West Indies. I was lucky enough to be able to return to my hometown during my clinical rotations where I fell in love with Pediatrics and went on to train in Pediatrics at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, NY.
I was invited to stay for a chief residency year where I was exposed to the administrative side of Pediatrics. Private practice best suits me because I have the opportunity to form relationships with my patients and their families. My favorite hobby is Latin dancing. I am a salsera at heart and dancing makes me feel alive. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my family. My son is my joy and he keeps me extremely busy and makes my life fun and exciting!
