Dr. Jackson states, “I take seriously my role in our community as a physician, a lover of science and of people. Although it is not just the science of medicine that fulfills me, but also the art of it. It is gratifying to foster a rapport with my patients built on mutual honesty and respect. I am committed to improving the health and overall well-being of my patients and intend to do so, one smile at a time.”

Dr. Jackson decided to pursue Internal Medicine after being exposed to the field's wide range of complex diseases in medical school. She became passionate about the variety of illnesses and conditions that internists routinely diagnose and treat. "I enjoy the multifaceted, investigative aspect of Internal Medicine–you have to know something about everything."

Dr. Jackson acknowledges that a physician's approach is central to high quality healthcare. "Physicians have always been respected by society and have also long been seen as public role models, so it is my pleasure and honor to live up to the expectations set before me, to give back what I feel I have received...I uphold a strong commitment to improve the health and overall well-being of others."

Dr. Jackson states, "As a physician, I’m constantly learning. Being a doctor is a truly never-ending lifelong educational opportunity. Learning is what makes it fun and feel new all the time. New breakthroughs, discoveries, advancements, and technologies definitely keep it interesting."
