Meet the Doctors

Dr. Virginia P. Madla

Dr. Virginia P. Madla is a board certified Allergist and Clinical Immunologist. Dr. Madla received her medical degree from the University of St. Tomas, Philippines. She completed a General Practice Internship in Pediatrics and Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Mount Sinai Hospital and the Cleveland Metropolitan Hospital at Case Western University. Dr. Madla is a member of the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. Madla consults as a clinical immunology specialist. Health issues within the speciality are recurring infections and immune system dysfunction which causes a poor quality of life.

Dr. Madla became fascinated by human immunology based on her personal observations and experiences. Dr. Madla states, "The choice of clinical immunology as a specialty was due to my innate curiosity as to why some people get sick so often. I wondered, how can I help these patients prevent recurring illnesses so they can have a better quality of life?"

Dr. Madla appreciates the unique opportunity to improve health through immunology and interdisciplinary approaches. "My passion is being a doctor. I hope to deliver the most effective patient care that I can. Being a doctor is both a mission and a gift. I am so grateful to the Almighty for such blessings."

In her free time, Dr. Madla is a serious senior tennis player and loves water aerobics and outdoor walking.

Dr. Madla looks forward to new opportunities for merging immunology, allergy science, and telemedicine. “I was initially skeptical about telemedicine and tried to read what is known about the subject." Dr. Madla explains, "After listening to The Rowe Network Dr. Rowe's presentation, I became increasingly interested in the subject and decided this may be one of the best options for a healthy doctor patient relationship to continue while navigating the overwhelming rapid communication changes and restrictions in health care. The Rowe Network seems to have pioneered this issue and I am very impressed by the organization. I am very experienced with medicine, and can't wait to enhance my expertise to a new level with telemedicine."
