Nailah Roland Fisher, MD
Nailah Roland Fisher, MD is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician who graduated from The Medical University of the Americas. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at North Shore LIJ- Staten Island University Hospital. After residency, Dr. Roland relocated to Florence, SC where she worked in the outpatient setting as an Internist for a private hospital system, while pursuing a more balanced lifestyle as an Independent Physician Contractor.
Dr. Roland has had the opportunity to speak publicly at multiple health fairs, churches, and schools regarding chronic conditions such as Diabetes, Obesity, and Hypertension. She also speaks extensively on the importance of a holistic approach to medical care and the importance of a complete Mind, Body and Spiritual connection as it pertains to comprehensive healthcare, prevention and healing.
Dr. Roland is known most notably by her patients for her exceptional bedside manner. As an Internal Medicine Physician, she is experienced in managing complex patients with multiple chronic diseases. She understands the multiple social, emotional, physical and financial barriers often making comprehensive care difficult, and takes the time necessary to formulate individualized treatment plans for each patient.
When she is not developing her public speaking skills, caring for patients or mentoring youth, Dr. Roland enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her Husband and two dogs. She is a member of Pee Dee Medical Professional Association and Provident Under Providence, a non-profit organization focused on spreading the importance of higher education to our youth through mentor ship.
