Dr. Jessica Floyd
Dr. Jessica Floyd is a board certified neurologist currently living in South Carolina. She went to med school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina followed by Internship and Neurology Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. It was while training at Mayo Clinic that she developed a love for translational research, experienced unparalleled collaboration between medical specialties, and a team effort to take care of the whole patient. Following residency she completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology with emphasis on EEG and Epilepsy at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. She practiced in a traditional hospital owned clinic for three years prior to transitioning to her current position as a Tele-Neurohospitalist and Tele-Stroke Neurologist with the physician-owned company Tele-Specialists, LLC based out of Fort Myers, Florida.
She considers herself an educator and a partner to her patients. She is proud when her patients learn about themselves enough that they don't need her anymore! She has three incredible children, an awesome husband, and enjoys yoga, running, cooking, and relaxing on the beach any second she gets!
