Rozalie V. Jackson, M.D.

Dr. Jackson decided to pursue Internal Medicine after being exposed to the field's wide range of complex diseases in medical school. She became passionate about the variety of illnesses and conditions that internists routinely diagnose and treat. "I enjoy the multifaceted, investigative aspect of Internal Medicine–you have to know something about everything."
Dr. Jackson acknowledges that a physician's approach is central to high quality healthcare. "Physicians have always been respected by society and have also long been seen as public role models, so it is my pleasure and honor to live up to the expectations set before me, to give back what I feel I have received...I uphold a strong commitment to improve the health and overall well-being of others."
Dr. Jackson states, "As a physician, I’m constantly learning. Being a doctor is a truly never-ending lifelong educational opportunity. Learning is what makes it fun and feel new all the time. New breakthroughs, discoveries, advancements, and technologies definitely keep it interesting."
In her spare time, Dr. Jackson enjoys going to the movies, dancing, taking walks on the beach, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. She loves to travel and hopes to explore new places. Dr. Jackson laughs, "I'm really trying to collect more stamps on my passport."
Dr. Jackson states, "Times are changing and while telemedicine is still new, it's quickly gaining traction as a large part of healthcare. I want to be a part of this revolution and grow with the new technological trends in medicine."
